IS IT ADVISABLE TO RENT A CAR?

Yes, the houses are located at the top of a mountain, which can only be accessed by car. There is no public transport to Surya.

DO YOU ACCEPT PETS?

Although we love animals, they are not accepted at Surya.

IS THE SWIMMING POOL PRIVATE?

Yes, when you rent the house, only you can use the pool.

ARE WE THE ONLY ONES IN THE HOUSE?

Yes, you will have exclusive use of the house.

ARE THERE ANY RESTAURANTS CLOSE TO THE HOUSE?

Yes, the Kudu Bar is an 8-minute walk away and offers international cuisine, but is only open in the evening. Other restaurants are only 8 minutes away by car. Delivery is available for Indian, Italian, burgers and pizza.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM LENGTH OF STAY?

The house is rented for a minimum of 5 nights. There is no maximum length of stay. Please send us details of your stay in the contact form.

Organizing an event at Surya

WHAT IS THE CAPACITY?

Casa SUNSET can accommodate 8 people, including organizers. Three rooms are dedicated to participants, and one room for one or two people is dedicated to the organizers.

Casa SUNRISE house can accommodate 9 people and will be available from winter 2025. Four rooms are dedicated to participants, one of which has 3 single beds.

HOW ARE MEALS HELD?

There are several options

In May, June and September, your host Nathalie will prepare your meals.
Bernardita takes over the kitchen when Nathalie is unavailable. We recommend checking availability in advance. Discover Bernardita’s cuisine
Bring your own chef
You can add restaurant outings during your stay, meal rates will be adjusted.

Full pension includes 3 meals a day, to be arranged as you wish. Vegetarian cuisine is available. All food allergies and intolerances are taken seriously. Filtered water and fresh fruit are available upon request.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS?

We welcome events with a minimum of 4 participants.

ARE THERE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE?

No, the house is entirely reserved for your event.

WHAT CAN YOU DO AROUND THE HOUSE WITHOUT A CAR?

A hiking trail starts a 5-minute walk from the house.
A restaurant is an 8-minute walk away.
A mini-market is a 10-minute walk away.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RENT THE HOUSES SEPARATELY?

Yes, it is possible to rent the houses separately. However, if you rent Casa SUNSET, you will not have access to the sauna and jacuzzi which are in Casa SUNRISE.
